Stress is probably the number one culprit for most issues in one’s life. The world we live in today is constantly making demands on us.  We’ve become a society that is controlled by deadlines and demands placed on us.

The overabundance of stress in one’s life can manifest itself as many different symptoms depending upon how we as individual choose to cope. Some may choose anger as their way of venting stress, others may choose alcohol, tobacco, drugs, food, and others may become physically ill with disease as a direct result of too much stress in ones life. 

There are positive ways to cope and manage the demands which are placed on us daily. How we choose to respond is our choice. It’s all about choice. We can choose a dysfunctional habit or a functional positive way to cope.

Once we make a dysfunctional choice, such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, overeating, or anger to cope with stress, we begin to create thought-forms in our minds which eventually create a habit.  Since these self-sabotaging habits are stored in and controlled by the unconscious mind, we can work to change these habitual thoughts through hypnosis, which works directly with the unconscious to release the habits forever.  We then can plant within the mind new, better, positive choices for coping with the stresses in our lives such as simply breathing, or resting, or reading, or meditating or walking, yoga, tai chi, etc…

Our minds work on two levels – the conscious (10%) and the unconscious (90%). We make decisions, think, and act with our conscious mind. The unconscious mind controls our behaviors, habits, addictions and obsessions. In the relaxed state known as hypnosis, we can communicate directly with the unconscious mind, the source which feeds the unwanted behaviors. This is how hypnosis can be an effective tool to assist us in changing lifetime behaviors and addictions through the mind.
